Lack of children's education is one of the most severe results of inequality

Inequality problems are really difficult in Peru. One additional challenge to poverty is the geographical challenge. There are people living on the coast, in the jungle, and in the mountains. So there is a big challenge to provide help to all of these different areas.

Bad governance leads to exploitation of natural resources and inequality

Creatura's Timo Kuusiola interviewed two lawyers Emilia Caballero and Ingrid Olguin from the Institution of international studies of Bolivia (IDEI Bolivia) about social and environmental issues in Bolivia. Bolivia has one of the world's most ambitious constitution, but it has no guiding effect on Bolivia's policy. The result is that there is a lot of exploitation of natural resources and huge inequality. 

Bolivia is an unfortunate example of bad governance

Bolivia is an unfortunate example of how state power has its own logic. Bolivia's president Evo Morales comes from the left-wing social movements, but still, Bolivia is an example of bad governance. Solon's message to western countries was that they need to stop trying to pursue their path of development to the South because it has failed.
